What is an Associate Prospero Producer? How do I become one?
Associate Producer status as an exciting way of sharing the costs and benefits of working in Prospero.
If you are an artist, organisation or teacher that has particular expertise you want to share with others, Associate Producer status might be right for you. There are different models to how Associate works, but here’s the idea.
First, you make a pitch to us about your idea. This might be through a conversation, or it might be that make you make a prototype of your idea using a Prospero Individual account. If we agree it’s a good idea, we open up Prospero fully to you and agree a mutually beneficial way to make it available. This might be through a reduced license cost or by splitting any revenue your work earns from downloads from the Prospero Library.
Every project is different, so no two Associate Producer arrangements will be the same. What’s important is you have a clear idea, preferably a demonstration and a sense of who your audience is. We will support you to make your ideas a reality.
