Prospero Forum: More chances to discuss drama, technology and lockdown.

Back in the spring Prospero, C&T and National Drama hosted a series of free, online discussions between teachers and theatre educators. They were an opportunity to explore the common ground we currently share and the challenge we all face:: how to make theatre and drama thrive under social distancing constraints.

Much has happened since then and much has been learnt. As a consequence, as England slips back into a lockdown of sorts (but with education currently still in business) we thought it was a good time to reconvene the conversation. As fledgling theatre programmes go back into hibernation, what next for artists in schools and classroom drama?

Again, being who we are, C&T and Prospero are interested in how distance and blended learning technologies can be of benefit in the classroom. But we want to hear about all experiences.

Join us and and be part of the conversation. Its all free. Places are limited to 100. Last time we sold out, so don’t leave it too long to sign up.

Maybe you have found a solution to effective social distancing in your classroom and want to share it to help0 others. Perhaps you need to learn some new non-contact games. Maybe you just want to listen to other people’s journeys and experiences. Last time we were joined by teachers from across the spectrum - including Special Education - we hope for the same this time. Theatre Educators are welcome too, as are colleagues and peers from across the globe. Covid-19 is a challenge for all of us!

Hope to see you on either the 12th or 19th November.at 4.30pm GMT. Or both. Sign up here.
